How Taxpayer Funding Fuels California’s Middle Mile Infrastructure

As California progresses in enhancing its middle mile infrastructure, we think it’s important to understand how taxpayer dollars, along with specific legislative support, are driving these projects.

Building out middle mile infrastructure is key to connecting local networks to larger, national networks facilitating vital transportation, logistics, and communication systems across the state. This infrastructure aims to build more efficient and reliable connectivity throughout California.

Driving these efforts is the U.S. Senate Bill 156. This bill plays a critical role in funding as it allocates significant resources towards developing broadband infrastructure, enhancing connectivity in underserved communities, and strengthening public network frameworks. This funding, coupled with taxpayer contributions, enables California to meet the growing demands for connectivity.

At Bridge Masters Inc., we’re proud to contribute with projects that align with these efforts, enhancing California’s connectivity through navigating California’s robust and diverse bridge infrastructure.

Our team will be attending the Broadband Communities Summit West next week on October 30 and 31st in San Diego to collaborate with industry leaders and explore strategies underpinned by funding outlined in the U.S. Senate Bill 156, driving improvements in public services.
